For many men, it’s unfortunately evident that the rigidity of their erection decreases as they age.
While most of the time we consider vascular and hormonal issues as the main reasons for this problem, we often overlook the physical aspect of it. The penis is not a muscle, it however has a system of muscles that are essential for its erection when aroused. This system of muscle are the Pelvic Floor muscles.

The muscles
Bulbospongiosus (BC)
The Bulbospongiosus (BC) muscle encircles a great portion of the penis from the base up. It serves as a pump that forcefully propels sperm out of the body. It also helps the erection of the penis by compressing the dorsal vein and the erectile tissue of the bulb.
Ischiocavernosus (IC)
The Ischiocavernosus (IC) muscle helps stabilize the penis when it’s erect. This muscle compresses the inner base of the penis (the part where the penis is attached to the pubic bone) and delays the return of the blood through the veins, and thus serves to maintain the organ erect.
Transverse Perineal
The Transverse Perineal muscles serve as support for the pelvic muscles and also help with the expulsion of semen out of the body. It will also serve as a crucial guide in some of our exercises to thoroughly work out the IC muscles
Can Kegel alone strengthen these muscles?
Traditional Kegel exercises are widely recommended by health professionals and many publications as great exercises to strengthen the Pelvic Floor muscles. Beside improving one’s erection, other benefits of Kegel exercises are; increasing the volume of ejaculation, improving blood flow to the penis and reduce premature ejaculation when done right and often.
However, if your ultimate goal is to have a harder erection, Kegel alone is not suffice. When most men do Kegel, the muscle that is mostly engaged is the BC muscle. The IC muscle is also worked out, but not to its full potential. The main physiological symptom of erectile issues is a weak IC muscle and this is a muscle that is very hard to flex and engage.
Reverse Kegel does a better job at working out the IC muscle but doing that alone is also not the full solution

You should however start seeing improvement with the quality of your erection after 3 days of the first week.

The “Workout Selection” option allows you to select individual exercises that you’ll be able to perform at your own pace and repetitions. You can use this option after the 4 Weeks program to customize your own weekly exercise routine.
